But when Maggie was pregnant, her father, Bill, passed away, so they named her Billie after him instead. Meanwhile, Finneas, who was four, insisted on calling her “Pirate,” and that stuck, too. And thus, her full name: Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell.
